Now click on Internet Options after that click on Connections.
After all these steps, you need to click on LAN
Uncheck Use Proxy By default, the settings will be examined. After that select OK.
Now start QuickBooks Sync Manager and check the proxy settings from there.
Malware is present if the Use Proxy Server option has a checkbox selected next to it. If the malware is not present, then it will display a secure network.
Solution 2- Running the Updates in Selective Startup Mode
Open the Start panel, then enter MSConfig into the box that appears.
Select Run as Administrator by right-clicking on the MSConfig.exe application in the search results.
Open the General tab and select Selective Startup.
Remove the checkmark from the Load startup items box.
Click now on the Services tab and check the checkbox for Hide all Microsoft services.
You must now select Apply, click OK, and then click the Disable all button.
After that, you have to uncheck the box that says "Hide all Microsoft Services."
Make sure to select Windows Package Installer from the list of services by checking this box. Select Restart after selecting OK.
Now, selective startup mode will start up on your computer. You must now download the updates and return to normal mode using the steps below:
Type msconfig in the Run window (Windows + R) to open it. Press Enter.
Press OK.
Tap the General tab and then the Normal Startup.
Restart after selecting OK.
Solution 3- Making QuickBooks an exception in antivirus applications
QuickBooks may be unable to establish a secure connection with the server due to some antivirus software settings. This can trigger QuickBooks error 3008 easily. Step 1- Setting QuickBooks as an Exception in Windows Defender
Select Settings by clicking Start on your computer. After that, pick Update & Security.

Tap Add or Remove Exclusions and tap Add an Exclusion.

Step 2- Making QuickBooks an Exception in McAfee Antivirus
To begin, select the My Protection menu after opening your McAfee software.
Now, you have to select Device and choose Real-Time Scanning.
Next, click Excluded Files, and you will have to select Add File.
You should now navigate the QuickBooks program file to add it to the exclusion list at this point. Do the same for every single QB executable file.
